We discontinued this program a few years ago due to the fact that we were not informed by Hobbs/Herder Insurance Marketing Systems of a hefty renewal licensing fee at the time we signed up for the program.
This bait and switch tactic alienated many agents who signed up for the program the same time that we did and I am not aware of anyone in our original group who continued with the program.
There was also an issue with some agents who purchased the canned advertising program due to the fact that an expensive desktop publishing program needed to be purchased before you could view, manipulate, or print the files.
This program is expensive in both time and money and the insurance department here in Utah is of the opinion that this program is rebating and therefore illegal.
If are contemplating using this program, I would strongly recommend clearing it with your respective state insurance authority before you invest any time or money. Nothing ruins a business faster than making commitments that you find out later that you cannot keep.
